Next, we'd like to feature the 2nd place team, which missed victory by
just one point, and earning the highest per-item average score
(13.333 points/photo) of any of the teams.

Ward, Emiko, Jared, and Roland.
The team created almost by accident.

Ward, the driver, arrived after most of the teams had already been solidified. He was the only player either Christa or Chris had met prior to the hunt. Roland was passing through the U.S. on his way back to Germany from Guatemala, and his only connection to the party wasn't around. Only Emiko and Jared knew each other previously. Yet what seemed in the morning to be perhaps an odd-person-out team proved by day's end to be a powerhouse. With enough cameras, camera bags, lenses, and tripods to outfit three (or more) teams, this team produced photos of startling artistry and grace. A photographer's team.
